Midday Meditation
You've likely heard people talk about the benefits of meditation for managing stress, boosting the immune system, and increasing energy. Now is a great time to start a practice or revisit one. This is a welcoming group of meditators, old and brand new. The session starts with Kundalini breath practices that offer powerful practices to shift your state of mind and make meditation more accessible.
About the instructor
Teacher Betsy Grimm is a yoga and meditation instructor who is drawn to practices to help manage mood, anxiety, and depression.

Drop in and make a snow craft to take home! We'll have snow-related arts and crafts activities on weekdays, all month long, in the Main Library Children's Services Area. Best for grades preK-5.
Designed for children with disabilities ages 3+ with caregiver support. Classes are structured with visual schedules and include fun picture books and songs, with fine and gross motor movement activities.

TechGirlz is a program of CompTIA Spark, a 501(c)3 nonprofit and social impact arm of CompTIA, that inspires middle school girls to explore the possibilities of technology to empower their future careers. TechGirlz is accomplishing its mission through the creation of free, fun, interactive “TechShopz” led by industry professionals, community leaders, and students. Workshop curriculum is shared for free with companies, organizations, schools, and community groups so they can inspire girls around the world with technology. Their vision is to create a world where girls have a lifelong passion and confidence in their use of technology throughout their careers.
Podcasting is a powerful way to communicate stories, news reports, and information. This two-part program will get students started with tools and techniques for creating engaging podcasts.
