Meeting/Event Description

Join us from 5:30-6:30 for a guided discussion on the book The House Beautiful. This book was beautifully designed by Wright, featuring his illustrations around the essay by William Gannett, a Unitarian minister, focusing on what makes a house a home. We will discuss the major themes of the text as they relate to Wright’s own philosophy and work. We will also have a presentation and discussion about the physical object, where we will look at pictures of the book itself showcasing Wright’s artwork.
