TechGirlz is a program of CompTIA Spark, a 501(c)3 nonprofit and social impact arm of CompTIA, that inspires middle school girls to explore the possibilities of technology to empower their future careers. TechGirlz is accomplishing its mission through the creation of free, fun, interactive “TechShopz” led by industry professionals, community leaders, and students. Curious about robots? Meet Edison, a Lego-compatible robot that is fun and easy to program. These robots are inexpensive and can be coded with blocks or in Python.
