Program Description

Event Details

Come learn and express yourself in a series of watercolor paint workshops from Slowfire Oak Park. You're invited to attend any or all sessions. All material and supplies will be provided. See the schedule below to register for each session.

December 5: Half Photo/Half Paint

The goal of this class is to finish the other half of an image that is provided to you, using watercolor paint. This project helps train your eye to notice detail and color. Color matching is essential for this project, and a brief presentation on color theory/color mixing will be given. The finished result will be a piece that is half image, half painting.

Please register for any or all events in the series:

November 14: Landscape Composition

November 21: Floral Painting

November 28: Fruit Still Life

About Josslyn Baron

Throughout her classes, she explored a multitude of mediums but continues to hold oil paint as her favorite artistic medium.
