Help celebrate the opening of the gallery exhibit E.A.C.H. Expression, Art, Community, and Health: Artworks about Real Life!
Join artist Rachel Weaver Rivera, MFA, LCPC to create a small expressive painting on a wood square, to contribute to a multi-generational, mixed media quilt showing how we each belong to the grand design of real life...more mysterious, and beautiful than each of could ever imagine on our own.
Participants will get to choose a symbol—a hand to represent self-expression, an eye to represent ART, a circle to represent community, or a heart to represent health. They will then be invited to have fun decorating with materials including Sharpie, oil pastel, and watercolor. Finally, each participant will find the perfect spot to add their unique mini-masterpiece to the collaborative quilt of community connection!
On display in the Main Library Gallery, August 1-31, view E.A.C.H. (Expression, Art, Community, and Health) Artworks About Real Life! by Rachel Weaver Rivera.
