Event Details

Join Special Collections for a workshop demonstrating best practices for preserving and organizing your family’s memories. Special Collections Librarian Carrie will discuss what to save and what to donate, how to organize what you save, and resources to preserve different kinds of physical materials and digital media. Patrons will walk away with lists of websites, books, and other instructions that will help guide you in the process of personalizing your family archive.

Note: this is not a genealogy workshop, so resources like Ancestry and FamilySearch will not be covered. You can find local history and genealogy resources here: https://www.oppl.org/research-learn/genealogy-local-history/
