Event Details
Relax into the New Year and prepare yourself for 2022! This interactive workshop will introduce participants to a variety of stress management techniques using mindfulness, grounding, and relaxation skills. Attendees will be encouraged to participate in experiential exercises and will be provided with information about the benefits of each.
About the presenter: Kate Hoffower RDT, LCPC, Clinical Director, Oak Brook/Oak Park Counseling and Wellness
As a Counselor, Drama Therapist, and Ecotherapist, Kate has been practicing therapy in some way, shape or form for over fifteen years. She holds graduate degrees from Northeastern Illinois University, the New York University Steinhardt School and is a graduate of Wilderness Reflections, an Ecotherapy Training Program in San Francisco, CA. Kate has presented at regional and national conferences and is a published author. She emphasizes the importance of self-care and stress-management with all of her clients, and is pleased to be able to offer complimentary workshops with interested groups.
