Take Your Child to the Library Day

Take Your Child to the Library Day is a day when thousands of libraries across the world celebrate library magic with free, fun, fabulous activities for families. Throughout the day, kids and families can participate in storytimes, pop-up play, and crafts in the Children's Services Area. Get a library card, browse our amazing collection, play, make friends, and discover the wonders of the library! 

Activities & events

• 9 am-2 pm: Community coloring table, scavenger hunt, and play 
• 10 am: Shake, Rattle & Read Storytime (ages 0-5 with caregiver)
• 11 am: Young & Restless Storytime (ages 0-2 with caregiver)
• 11:30 am: Stay & Play (ages 0-5 with caregiver)
• 1:30 pm: Lego Club (ages 4-11)
