Join us to discuss Twins by Varian Johnson.
Maureen and Francine Carter are twins and best friends. They participate in the same clubs, enjoy the same foods, and are partners on all their school projects. But just before the girls start sixth grade...[they start growing apart]. Are sisters really forever? Or will middle school change things for good?
How to participate:
- Get the book. The books will be on hold in the Main Library Lobby. Speak to a staff member to check out your copy! Or download a copy through Hoopla. Need help getting started with Hoopla? Watch how-to videos at ppl.org/how-to-library »
- Discuss. Join us in this librarian-led discussion. This program will be held outside in Scoville Park in a socially-distant format. Snacks will be provided! Based on the Oak Park Department of Public Health recommendations, capacity is limited to 25 participants, with masks. Register below.
