Through interpreting gifts of art from her father, Franklin McMahon, and articles written by her mother, Irene Leahy McMahon, internationally-acclaimed sculptor and author Margot McMahon discovered untold family stories of five generations of her artistic Chicago area family. Hear how her parents, Mac and Irene, fell in love in Oak Park, how she researched, wrote, and came to publish her trilogy—soon to be four books—about her family in Chicago, the Adirondacks, and Ireland.
