Description of Meeting/Event
In Chicago’s Austin neighborhood, community leaders
confront the legacies of segregation and
disinvestment while celebrating the strength,
creativity, and perseverance that define their
community. Through stories of food justice, housing,
public safety, and authentic storytelling, the film
highlights how neighbors are working together to
reclaim their future and ensure that investment
uplifts rather than displaces.
