Waking Ned Devine: a 1998 comedy film written and directed by Kirk Jones and starring Ian Bannen, David Kelly, and Fionnula Flanagan. When Ned Devine dies from shock of winning the lottery, two old codgers enlist the help of the whole village in defrauding the lottery to claim the prize.
