Meeting/Event Description

In November we will discuss Finding Nouf by Zoe Ferraris published in 2008.  This is the first book in the Katya and Nayir series and the setting is Saudi Arabia, 2008.  When investigating the death of a 16-year old girl, Detective Nayir Al-Sharqi joins forces with a Katya Hijazi from the coroner's office who is bold enough to show her face in public. She helps him to gain information about the hidden world of women.

Detection by Daylight is a book group that meets monthly on the first Wednesday at 12 pm on Zoom. We discuss detective mystery stories, often the first book of a series and sometimes standalone books.  The group has been running since 2011 and all are welcome.
