Description of Meeting/Event
A family celebration of the national holiday in Turkiye denoting Children's Day (23 Nisan) and National Sovereignty. This holiday celebrates the promise of youth in supporting the ideals of a new republic that was officially proclaimed in 1923. This event is family-oriented with hands-on activities for kids, samples of Turkish treats, and some cultural artifacts. Come for as much time as you are able, all are welcome!
