Join acclaimed author Alec Nevala-Lee and distinguished science writer Dan Hooper for a captivating discussion on Nevala-Lee’s highly anticipated new book, Collisions: A Physicist's Journey From Hiroshima to the Death of the Dinosaurs. The book is the first biography of the Nobel Prize-winning physicist Luis W. Alvarez, a University of Chicago graduate who worked on the Manhattan Project and collaborated with his son to prove that the extinction event that killed the dinosaurs was caused by an asteroid impact.
