From the artist
"I discovered the joy of painting en plein air (a French term for 'in the open air,' referring to the practice of painting outdoors rather than in a studio) seven years ago and found it incredibly enjoyable. While painting outdoors is delightful, it presents numerous challenges, including weather conditions, equipment, supplies, and more.

"The subject matter is not limited to landscapes, as the 19th-century French impressionists captured; cityscapes are also commonly depicted. The primary goal is to capture the beauty and essence of the scene directly from observation. It offers a delightful way to immerse oneself in the natural world or the hustle and bustle of urban scenes while expressing creativity through painting.

"My body of work reflects my passion for painting outdoors, and I hope to share it with more people."
