Learn how to use Fusion 360, a 3D modeling CAD program used by industry professionals, to create 3D models. This workshop will teach students how to use Fusion 360's tools and focus on taking real life objects to re-create them in 3D.
All students are required to sign up for a free account with Autodesk Fusion 360 prior to attending. You can create an Autodesk Fusion 360 for personal use account by following this link to the Autodesk website then clicking on the "Get Autodesk Fusion for personal use" button and filling out the sign up information.
If you would like assistance setting up your Autodesk Fusion 360 for personal use account, you can request a 1-on-1 Learning Lab to have a library staff member help you through the sign up process.
Please come to this workshop prepared with your login information completed.
It is recommended that you watch this short 6 minute video, Foundational Concepts: Design Intent, Top Down vs Bottom Up, and RULE #1, about the foundations of design before the event.
