We Move Together by Kelly Fritsch is a bold and colorful exploration of all the ways that people navigate through the spaces around them, and a celebration of the relationships we build along the way. The book follows a mixed-ability group of kids as they creatively negotiate everyday barriers and find joy and connection in disability culture and community.

In addition to being a good story, it’s a perfect tool to facilitate conversations about disability, accessibility, social justice, and community building. Includes a kid-friendly glossary. Best for families with kids in elementary school, K-5.

How to participate:

1. Get the book. The first 20 families to register will receive a copy of the book to keep. Copies also can be:

2. Discuss and learn. Families can participate in one or both ways:

  • Join us for a Zoom discussion, register below.
  • Discuss at home as a family using a resource guide that will be emailed to everyone who registers, before December 27.
