Greetings, lovers of all things Austen! We are excited to celebrate the birth of the great writer, Jane Austen, with another great author, Jeanette Watts.

We will have a lesson in etiquette on how to show proper honors, a discussion of how birthdays were celebrated in the early 1800s, a reading from one of Jeanette's Jane Austen novels, and so much more.

Join us in raising a glass (virtually, so you will have to supply your own beverage of choice) for Jane Austen's birthday! If you wish to dress up with Jeanette, period attire is admired but not required.
