We invite families, educators, and community members to join former Minister of Information for the Young Lords Organization in Chicago and current community leader Omar Lopez to discuss the Latinx human rights movement in Chicago in the late 1960's, emphasizing its collaboration with the African American community and continued lessons for the future.
