Program Description

Event Details

There are many factors that can influence the aging process. By establishing healthy lifestyle habits, you can create an aging experience where flourishing meets a healthier, happier you. Join Duly Health and Care for a presentation on the preventative steps you can take to contribute to a productive and healthy lifestyle. This presentation will include a Q&A session with a physician from the Oak Park Duly Health and Care Center.

Aging in Place
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention defines aging in place as "the ability to live in one’s own home and community safely, independently, and comfortably, regardless of age, income, or ability level." There are many factors to consider when deciding whether to age in place. This series explores some of these factors—from healthcare concerns to benefit opinions—in an effort to illuminate and highlight resources available to older adults as they age in place. See all upcoming events in this series »
