Real Ballers Read Interview

Real Ballers Read is a podcast that promotes the power of literacy and life-long learning. Every episode features an author, scholar, librarian or entrepreneur to discuss their favorite book and why they love reading. Real Ballers Read is produced by Oak Park residents and brothers Jan and Miles Menafee. For their 100th podcast episode, they are interviewing their mom, Dr. Pamela Ellis, the inspiration behind Real Ballers Read, to talk about education, literacy, and her favorite book, Disappearing Acts by Terri McMillan. This is the first time the podcast has recorded an episode while hosting a live audience as well, which will contribute to the sense of celebration and engagement for the larger OP/Chicago community of book-lovers.
