Father-son team Brian and Jeff Becker, co-authors of Tender Lions, discuss the silent epidemic of fatherlessness and its devastating societal ramifications.

More than 20 million children live in a home without the physical presence of a father, and millions more live in homes where the dad is physically present but emotionally absent. This absence, say the authors, has startling consequences on girls' and boys' emotional and physical health, including increased likelihood of depression, obesity, poverty, involvement in gangs, addiction, incarceration, and more. 

Jeff and Brian Becker tell their own compelling family story, along with proven strategies to repair and improve the relationship between any parent and child. The Beckers are on a mission to share the message that it’s never too late to take the first step in the right direction.
