Self-guided tours
All weekend long during open library hours, visitors can enjoy self-guided poster tours highlighting architectural aspects of the current library building as well as unique items in Special Collections.

Staff-guided tours
Guided 30-minute tours led by Special Collections library staff members will be offered:

  • Saturday, October 15 at 11 am and 3 pm
  • Sunday, October 16 at 1 pm and 3 pm

Film screening
Also on Saturday at 1 pm, a free screening of the film Frank Lloyd Wright’s Modern Masterpiece: Unity Temple will take place in the Main Library’s Veterans Room. This documentary pulls back the curtain on Wright’s first public commission in the early 1900s to more recent efforts restoring the 100-year-old building to its original beauty.
