Meeting/Event Description

Join our new Neurodiversity Book Club, hosted by CAYR Connections, a local nonprofit dedicated to celebrating and empowering all kinds of minds.

What's that? You don't know what neurodiversity is? That's okay! Neurodiversity refers to the fact that our brains are as different as faces, and that there is no "right" type of brain. Our book club is open to everyone, no matter if you identify as neurotypical, neurodivergent, or if you're questioning what that even means.

We have three book options for our December meeting and will decide which book to read with a vote: "Wintering" by Katherine May, "We're Not Broken" by Eric Garcia, and "A Thousand Ways to Pay Attention" by Rebecca Schiller. The chosen book will be announced at the end of September on our website and social media! Check out the event at www.cayrconnections.org/rsvp for information about the book and to RSVP.
