Program Description

Event Details

Late fall is actually a great time to plant seeds and we have 3 different varieties of native flower seeds at the library—Purple Coneflower, Smooth Blue Aster, and Partridge Pea.

Learn how to make a seed sphere with clay and compost and also how to make your own winter sowing portable greenhouses using upcycled materials.

Feel free to bring your own water jugs or milk jugs, clear plastic salad containers, 2-liter soda bottles, and large clear plastic take-out containers. Supplies will be provided while they last.

This drop-in program is for all ages and does not require registration.
