Program Description
Event Details
Kinga Lipinska will give a talk about poetry and poetics of Louise Glück.
Glück has been awarded the Pulitzer Prize for Poetry in 1993 for The Wild Iris and the Poetry Society of America's William Carlos Williams Award. In October 2020, Glück was awarded the Nobel Prize in literature.
Bound together by the universal themes of time and mortality and with clarity and sureness of craft, Louise Glück's poetry questions, explores, and finally celebrates the feast-ordeal of being alive.
