Idea Box: Multicultural Collection Artifacts on Display

Welcome to Oak Park's Multicultural Collection!

Says Juanta Griffin, Multicultural Learning Coordinator: "This month's Idea Box exhibit is a way to re-introduce patrons to the Multicultural Collection.

I displayed artifacts from different countries to encourage patrons to explore the collection and to raise curiosity about the cultures the artifacts represent.

I hope to rekindle interest in the collection so artifacts will continue to circulate throughout the community."

The full collection, housed at Dole Branch, is full of thousands of cultural resources. It includes artifacts like handmade textiles, games, and dolls, as well as books, films, and music from around the world.
