Meeting/Event Description

By Discovery is excited to host our 2nd creative workshop in support of Ukrainian Families! Please join us on Wednesday, May 3rd from 5:30 to 7:30pm, Oak Park Public Library, 1st Floor Community Space.

 

AT THE EVENT:

  • Create with us!!! Design a colorful Peace Bird in flight to symbolize freedom and hope!
  • Enjoy By Discovery's student exhibit featuring collaged Peace Birds and Peace paintings
  • Optional: Donations to non-profit organizations supporting Ukrainian families are most welcome at the event. We will have QR codes to several organizations available. Those who make a donation are welcome to display their Peace Bird in the window of By Discovery's Art Studio at 44 Lake St during the month of May : )

By Discovery is an after school art enrichment program serving students at Beye and Lincoln Elementary Schools, District 97, in Oak Park. Our mission is to offer children opportunities for exploration and growth through creative, project-based learning in art.
