Program Description

Event Details

Let's celebrate disabled people and disability as an identity with a march around the Main Library and Scoville Park! This march is for disabled people and allies; a disability is not required to celebrate with us.

Disability Pride means different things to different people: to honor early activists, recognition that their disability is intrinsic to their self, celebrating disability visibility in public spaces, and more.

We will meet in the Main Library Lobby at 11 am.

Sign-making supplies will be available in the Lobby 10-11 am and Main Library Storytime Room 10:30-11 am, as well as in the Main Library Storytime Room on Friday, July 14, 3:30-4:30 pm.

This event is part of our Disability Pride Month celebration.
