In September we will discuss Death in Focus by Anne Perry, published in 2019. This is the first book in Elena Standish series, Perry’s newest series. Set in 1933, as Elena, a photographer, and her sister innocently vacation on Italy’s Amalfi coast. Elena meets a handsome stranger, and soon she is required to embark on a vital mission to deliver a message to Berlin as Hitler rises to power.
Detection by Daylight is a book group that meets monthly on the first Wednesday at 12 pm on Zoom. We discuss detective mystery stories, often the first book of a series and sometimes standalone books. The group has been running since 2011 and all are welcome.
