In July we will discuss Blessing Way by Tony Hillerman, published in 1970.  This is the first book in the series that features Joe Leaphorn and Jim Chee, Navajo tribal police officers in Arizona.  There is something exceptionally disturbing about a murder victim found in a high lonely pace whose mouth full of sand. With a lack of clues, they wonder if this death was at the hand of a supernatural killer?

Detection by Daylight is a book group that meets monthly on the first Wednesday at 12 pm. We discuss detective mystery stories, often the first book of a series and sometimes standalone books.  The group has been running since 2011 and always meets at the Maze library.
