In June, we will discuss The Survivors by Jane Harper, published in 2020. Harper is the author  of the popular books, The Dry, Force of Nature, and The Lost Man.  Set on the island of Tasmania, off the coast of Australia, where the body of a young woman artist is found in the sand.  For the residents of the island, it brings back sad memories and the trauma of a missing girl whose body was never found. This is a stand alone book not a sequel.

Detection by Daylight is a book group that meets monthly on the first Wednesday at 12 pm. We discuss detective mystery stories, often the first book of a series and sometimes standalone books.  The group has been running since 2011 and always meets at the Maze library.
