Detection by Daylight Book Group

In May, we will discuss Land of Shadows by Rachel Howzell Hall, published in 2014.  This is the first in the Elouise Norton series.  The body of a teenage girl is found hanging in a closet in an under-construction condo. Detective “Lou” Norton and her partner doubt that this death is a suicide.  In the process of solving the crime, Lou discovers links between this death and that of her own sister.

Detection by Daylight is a book group that meets monthly on the first Wednesday at 12 pm. We discuss detective mystery stories, often the first book of a series and sometimes standalone books.  The group has been running since 2011 and meets at the Maze library.
