Event Details

Celebrate and explore the impact of intergenerational connection during Celebrating Seniors Week. The library is excited to welcome puppet designer Jacky Kelsey for a hands-on puppet-making workshop for creators of all ages.

Older adults are encouraged to bring the young artists in their lives to team up for this fun puppet-making project. The program will incorporate basic sewing techniques for fabric-based puppets, along with opportunities for including found objects. Older adults are encouraged to share their sewing skills with youth, while younger participants are encouraged to guide the creative decision-making process. 

Patrons ages 14 and younger must be accompanied by an adult (18+) caregiver for this event.

The Creative Studio is located on the third floor of the Main Library.
