Art Exhibit: "Capturing Life, Fragility, and Resilience" by Boris Vayninger

Paintings by Boris Vayninger will be on display at Maze Branch between Thursday, May 1 and Saturday, May 31.

Artist statement
"My work explores human connection, vulnerability, and the overlooked moments that shape our existence. Through expressive brushwork and a rich, muted palette, I depict the raw emotions of childhood, aging, and survival.

"From children gripping their reluctant pets to individuals experiencing homelessness, my paintings highlight the contrasts of innocence, hardship, and resilience. The tension between bold, textured strokes and delicate details reflects the complexity of life itself.

"I seek to illuminate both joy and struggle, inviting viewers to connect with the fleeting yet profound moments that define our shared humanity."
